ST. MICHAEL CONFERENCE
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization that helps those in need
or living in poverty. We visit the homes of those in need to bring them financial assistance
or sometimes simply to listen.
We assist with food & gas vouchers, rent & utility assistance and other miscellaneous needs, and help connect people with local help agencies. Our number is 507-676-5508. We serve a free take-out meal on Tuesday nights at St. Joseph Parish 512 S. Elm, 5:30-6:30pm.
We are not a social service agency, but a person-to-person Catholic ministry (serving people of all faiths or no faith) that sees the face of Christ in the faces of those who are suffering.
We are funded by donations and are always of need of volunteers. We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at St. Joseph Parish.
FURNISHING HOPE
Please call: 507-676-1324 or find us online at: https://www.furnishinghopeowatonna.org/
Operating under the auspices of the St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP), Furnishing Hope is a non-profit organization formed to help neighbors in need to furnish their homes.
We maintain a warehouse stocked with gently-used, donated furniture. Our all-volunteer staff welcomes clients and patrons to our warehouse during limited hours and by appointment only.
Furnishing Hope relies solely on donations of furniture, money, and volunteer time. Please consider supporting the organization by:
•Donating gently-used furniture
•Volunteering to pick-up or deliver furniture
•Volunteering to help in the furniture warehouse
•Making a financial contribution
